All 2008 graduate programs have now closed and 2009 programs will open in March 2009. Graduate programs are a great way to get a foot in the door at world leading companies and organisations. You can make selection based on companies reputation, development programs, social image or area of speciality. We have worked to generate this list of ohs related companies that proactively promote their graduate programs, there are many more companies that we will seek to cover next year.
Internships are almost mandatory for US students, but companies are just started to understand how valuable a decent recruitment program can be in such a competitive job market where skill shortage is less of an issue than will and determination. Graduate programs are a much better alternative to Internships as they often pay above market value to recruit the best candidates and may even sweeten offers to their perfect candidates with a proven track record.
So please use this resources as a guide and some of these firms advise on their site that they actively recruit outside application period for graduate roles, vocation roles and internships. These graduate programs listed are due to start in late 2008 or early 2009 depending on the role and candidate preferences, most require that you are due to complete your studies by the end of the year when you apply for a program.
