| When you book your wedding, a time is arranged for the
initial meeting, usually at Janet ‘s home. The Notice of Intended Marriage
which can be completed at this time, must be lodged at least one month and one
day before the wedding.
The Notice can be lodged up to 18months prior to the wedding day. If you are applying from interstate or you just wish to complete the form before your appointment you can download the Notice of Intended Marriage Form from this site as a PDF file by clicking here or Janet can mail or fax one to you. The couple should bring either birth certificates if Australian born or passports if born overseas. Where there has been a previous marriage or a death, certificates will need to be provided. A deposit would be appreciated at this same meeting to secure the booking. Janet has a sound system to ensure that you guests can hear the ceremony clearly at either an indoor or outdoor venue. She also provides calligraphy on your Marriage certificate and a gold leaf poem to place in your album as a memento of your day.
