| Besides conducting weddings Janet is also available for:
Renewal of vows Renewal of vows can be performed for two reasons. Usually it is performed on the anniversary of a couples marriage where the idea is to renew the vows taken several years previously. It is also used when a couple need to have two ceremonies to accommodate relatives in two different countries so that neither family misses the wedding day. A couple cannot be married twice and so the Renewal of Vows is a similar ceremony but without the accompanying legal aspect. A certificate is given but it states that it is a Renewal and not a wedding. Name giving For couples with no religious affiliation who wish to have a ceremony welcoming their child into their family and extended family. A Guardian or Godparent is appointed and Certificates are given. This ceremony has no legal significance. Commitment Usually performed for same sex couples or where heterosexual couples wish to proclaim their union without a legal bond.
